The IWASHIMIZU HACHIMANGU has three GOD. The GOD enshrined in a main shrine on the mountain, usually. But one day of the year, They come down from main shrine and stay in the shrine of the under mountain all days. While they stay, the event continues. The event start at 2:00 AM. 500 retinue bring the GOD and come down. And finish at 8:00 PM, 500 retinue bring the GOD and go back to main shrine. I filmed this pictures at 3:00 AM. You can see ?
